PS 145

Weekly Classes

• After school classes are offered Mondays and Thursdays

• Classes will start immediately after school and run until 3:50. Students enrolled in after school programs following chess will be dismissed directly to those after school programs.

• Monday classes are open to students of all ages and experience levels

  • Dates include: 3/3, 3/10, 3/17, 3/24, 4/7, 4/21, 4/28, 5/5, 5/12, 5/19, 6/2, 6/9, 6/16, and 6/23

  • Cost is $450 for the semester ($30 per class)

• Thursday classes are open to students of all ages and experience levels

  • Dates include: 2/27, 3/13, 3/20, 3/27, 4/3, 4/10, 4/24, 5/8, 5/15, 5/22, 5/29, 6/12

  • Cost is $360 for the semester ($30 per class)

• The PTA, in partnership with Eight By Eight Chess, offers a limited number of scholarships to make chess participation accessible to PS 145 students. Due to the limited spots, these scholarships are allocated through a lottery system. If you have financial hardship that genuinely necessitates financial aid, please check the box on the registration form to be considered for the lottery.
